Hi there! I'm Janice Archuleta, and I'm thrilled to introduce you to both my journey and my two services, Janice's Tax Service and Janice's Notary Service. With over 12 years of experience in the tax and financial sector, and over 30 years in customer service, I've accumulated a wealth of knowledge and expertise that I'm excited to share with you.
My journey began in 2012 when I started learning tax preparation with H&R Block. I initially focused on business returns and simple 1040s. Since it was seasonal work, I took the opportunity to continuously expand my knowledge every year through continuing education. Each year, I chose to specialize in a different area. One year it was farm tax, the next year business tax, followed by K-1s, and so on. This diverse training has equipped me to handle a variety of tax situations with confidence.
In 2020, I decided to venture out on my own and started preparing taxes part-time. That first year, I was thrilled to help 200 clients. The following year, I had another 200 clients, many of whom were new. To better serve my clients, I obtained electronic filing capabilities, allowing me to offer products like cash advances and rapid refunds.
I also developed an online virtual tax system where clients can securely upload their documents through a portal. After preparing their returns, we connect via Skype or Zoom for identity verification and document signing through Adobe. This system has proven to be incredibly efficient and convenient for my clients.
What I love most about this work is that there's always something new to learn. Tax laws change continuously, and I thrive on the challenge of keeping up with these changes to ensure I provide the best service possible. My passion for learning and adapting keeps me motivated and ensures that my clients receive accurate and up-to-date advice.
